Growing at 1250m altitude, Areni Noir is an indigenous ungrafted Armenian grape variety that reached us through 6100 years history of surviving the harsh climate of the rocky and rich volcanic soil of Vayots Dzor region. The contrast of these intense climatic and soil conditions gives this wine a mystical elegance and a unique taste. Complex yet delicate, slightly peppery in taste, this wine boasts with rich aromas of red berries, pleasantly tart to the finish, and goes perfectly with cheeses and meats.
